I'm Priya,
nice to meet you.
I come from a business and technology background with over 15 years in the industry across 6 countries. Over the last 15 years, i have worked across various parts of Asia in project management, product management and business development.
During this time I have worked with large corporates such as HP, Delphi automotive, Societe Generale. I have also worked with startups at various stages of growth – inception, boutique and high growth startups such as Zalora.
I am a gold medalist in Bachelor of Engineering(BE) from Bangalore University. I also have a Masters of Science(MS) in Computer Engineering from North Carolina State University, USA and an MBA from INSEAD(France)

Why product management
While every role has some element of product management, my product management journey kicked off at Zalora Vietnam where I was managing the product.
I was constantly working with various departments and customer service to strike a balance between the business and the voice of the customer.
Embracing process and technology to smoothen the customer journey is at the core of my product management philosophy
What I've been working on
All the roles in the post have involved understanding the customer in a B2C or B2B environment. What i lacked in my skillset was a structured approach to cement this understanding.
Doing a Ui/Ux course helped me to upskill in these areas and at the same time introduced me to new tools such as Figma.
In addition to constantly upgrading my skill set, I have been working with founders of 2 startups from day 0 in very different industries, helping them launch their business.
What I'm curious about
Why do people do what they do? Can i tweak my product or process to make them change their behavior one step at a time? How does this change benefit the customer and/or the product? How can i safely do this without disrupting the existing customers at a large scale?
Because something has not worked for another company or in another country, does that mean it will not work for us?
These are the kind of questions that keep me curious, looking for answers
